Basketball 2010

Even though we are well into baseball, I wanted to post a few pictures of basketball this year. Austin was on a great team and had a really fun time. He had a great coach and he learned a lot.
He is in the middle in the gray shorts.
Austin got glasses for the first time that he was able to wear in the last couple games. He is glad to be able to see the hoop now.

Ainsley Siena

Ainsley is bad at church. We can usually make it to sacrament meeting but not much longer. She enjoys spilling crackers, pulling her sisters' hair, yelling, crying, and running up the isles. She spends a lot of time in the halls. She is getting bigger and smarter. Most of the time when you ask her what her name is, she says "Ainsley Siena cutie pie!" It is hard to believe that she will soon be 2!

She is at a difficult age. She loves to pull things out of drawers, cupboards, and closets. She is really good at making messes. If you ask her to clean it up she says "No, Mommy do it." It is hard to discipline her because she makes us laugh.

She can count to 14 and kind of say the ABC's. She likes to read me stories. She likes to rip books. She is good at stealing lollipops and can hide really fast if she needs to. We love our little Ainsley.

Spring Training

Parker was able to go with his dad, grandpa, and uncles to spring training in Arizona. He was so excited. He had so much fun watching the games and spending time with everyone. His only mishap (that I've heard of...) was throwing up 3 times on the way home (including on some man on the shuttle van to the airport) and causing Uncle Chris to lose his cookies too...sorry Uncle Chris!

At 4:30 in the morning...he is so excited!

Dodgers fan... one of the coaches even threw him a ball!

Uncle Darren, Grandpa, Uncle Danny and Uncle Jimmy just chilling.

Parker LOVES Uncle Darsey!

bathing beauties! (sorry boys)

Now Parker is ready for baseball season to begin! This is right before his 1st game on the Padres.

sleepy

I wish they got along this well all the time.

crazy hair

Her hair is out of control in the mornings. We laugh everyday!

Lost tooth

Finally McCall has lost her first tooth! We are all thrilled...mostly because we don't have to hear CONSTANTLY how she is the only person in her class who has not lost a tooth. It's been probably 2 years that she has been telling everyone that her teeth are SO loose. She spent more hours wiggling then doing anything else. Every prayer, every wish, every hope was to finally lose a tooth. Yeah McCall...congratulations! (too bad the tooth fairy forgot!)

my girls

almost 11 years ago when austin was born we were so excited to have a boy. we didn't find out what he was...he could have been named Payten. 2 years later when we found out baby #2 was a boy we were thrilled. austin would have a friend and GREAT...no new clothes to buy (since we had no money:). BUT...when they told me that my next baby was a GIRL...i smiled for months. i think it was more shock and relief than anything. when mcCall was born my world changed. was like someone threw color on a black and white world. then to have two more girls...WOW. don't get me wrong...i love my boys to death. they are so much fun and at their current ages they are way easier than the girls. but how much do i love pink. mcCall and hayden are both extremely girly. they love to sing and dance and play princess pretend. they love to get dressed up and don't mind if i give them poofy hairdos with large bows. they also are emotional, easily frustrated and they can throw monster temper tantrums. i am so grateful for them. i am trying to cherish every moment i have with them. they are growing up way too fast (but sometimes not fast enough). being a mother to girls is truly a blessing. i love my girls.
