waterslide

For the 2nd year in a row my parents rented the stake campground so the kids could go on the waterslide. It is always a hit! hayden with her friends elizabeth and ella

camping

My kids were thrilled to go to Waterton camping with grandma and grandpa for 4 days. They got to sleep in the trailer, go on hikes, go swimming, play baseball, get ice cream cones, go to movies, and much more. Ainsley and I only went up with Tammy and great grandpa for 1 day and we had a great time. I took a lot of pictures.

Thanks Grandpa Wes and Grandma Raine for the fun time!

best buddies

My kids love spending time with their cousins in Canada each summer. Ryder got to stay at grandma's for a couple days. Parker loved every minute! They had tons of fun together.
Reading scriptures together...Parker was right there with him as he read.
Thanks Ryder for being such a fun cousin. We hope that you can come and stay with us sometime!

campfire

One of the fun things we did this summer was to have a weiner roast and make smores in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. The kids had so much fun and all came in filthy and reeking of smoke. One of the great things about my parents is they let the kids do things themselves. They don't mind if they get dirty or make a mess. I wish I could be more like that.
Austin by the fire...
Hayden enjoying the flames.
McCall...happy!

Great Grandpa came and ate with us. Hayden especially loves Great Grandpa and is constantly giving him hugs.

acting bug

This summer the kids had a great time playing with their cousins. The time that they spent with their cousins Bayley and Brooklyn were spent acting out play and putting on performances for anyone who who watch. My girls LOVED it and really got into it. Even Parker, though he won't admit it now, took part in the productions!

High school musical...McCall had a hard time keeping up with the advanced moves of her cousins!

A little dancing...Westin got involved...

Closing bow...trying to get it together.

Here we go...happy cast!

Little women...we took the girls to the Cardston production and they loved it. They had to act out every scene! Grandma had a huge selection of costumes from years past. Thanks Bay and Brooke for being so fun and bring a little culture to my kids.

hair today, gone tomorrow

I finally convinced McCall to get a little haircut. She has always said that she would never get it cut. She loves long hair and loves girls that have long hair.

Now she totally thinks she has short hair! My hairdresser cut off 6 inches, but I still think it is pretty long. It will be a long time before she will let me cut it again.

birthday girl

Ainsley turned 2! She was very excited for her special day. Her birthday was on a Sunday so I didn't have time for a fancy cake. It's pretty pathetic!

So excited!
Getting some help with the candles...

We are so happy that little Ains is in our family. She is a super happy little girl who makes us laugh everyday. She gets away with a lot, but her brothers and sister adore her. It's hard to believe that it has already been 2 years since she was born. We love you Ainsley!
