rodeo

living in california, we don't get the chance very often to go to a rodeo. the kids were thrilled to go to one in magrath on the celebration weekend. parker got to ride on a sheep. hayden tried to catch a chicken. (funny since she is scared to death of chickens...and all other animals)

The best thing about coming home this summer was going through the temple with my 93 year old grandpa. It was such a special day. All of my siblings were there. I really feel like it is a miracle...we hoped and prayed and fasted...but never did we think it would actually happen.

basketball camp

One of the highlights of going to Canada is attending basketball camp! My kids love it! This year McCall was able to go and she had a great time. This year they learned new skills, made lots of friends, and had fun reconnecting with their cousins. Thanks Uncle Danny!

For the 2nd year in a row my parents rented the stake campground so the kids could go on the waterslide. It is always a hit!

My kids were thrilled to go to Waterton camping with grandma and grandpa for 4 days. They got to sleep in the trailer, go on hikes, go swimming, play baseball, get ice cream cones, go to movies, and much more. Ainsley and I only went up with Tammy and great grandpa for 1 day and we had a great time. I took a lot of pictures.

My kids love spending time with their cousins in Canada each summer. Ryder got to stay at grandma's for a couple days. Parker loved every minute! They had tons of fun together.

Reading scriptures together...Parker was right there with him as he read.

One of the fun things we did this summer was to have a weiner roast and make smores in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. The kids had so much fun and all came in filthy and reeking of smoke. One of the great things about my parents is they let the kids do things themselves. They don't mind if they get dirty or make a mess. I wish I could be more like that.
